Question: Does the Click Through Ratio apply to organic results as it does with adwords to rank higher?
In the PPC game with Adwords and maybe others, the click through ratio increase your ranking nearer the top of the sponsored results.
Would the same apply to organic results? Would a catchy and proper description that makes the visitors click on your link move you up the organic results?

Hi Fantapattaya,
I believe most search engines use user feedback while ranking results. However, it is not just a simple click-through ratio. Many engines would analyze a few levels deeper to understand how long users stayed on a site, how many different people liked the site for a query and so on.
So, it seems to me that it is a good idea to have a catchy and “proper” description for your page. However, the content on the page should be such that
a) it is relevant to the query and
b) once the user arrives at the page, he/she will spend some time on your site and will be satisfied (he won’t click on another result for his query).
Search Engines go very hard on spam, so make sure you don’t use any black hat techniques. There’s nothing wrong with adding relevant keywords to your page though.

My webmaster has told me they have, but i thinking he may just want me to pay him for seo work instead of to gogle
i dont think it is true as ive put escorts in googlend advertisers still come up. Does anyone have a tel no for Google ads ?

It’s true, Google no longer allows escorts services to advertise with them. Try typing in “escorts” into Google and see what comes up.

That depends on your web site. Google Adwords is when you pay for ads based on keyword phrases and each time a click comes to your web site you are charged a fee. So it is based on your budget and then you need to consider the return on investment…ROI, are you making sales from your ad and if not, them making changes to your web site so that visitors are buying from you.
But, you may be speaking of AdSense, which is when other peoples google ads are placed on your web site. The ads placed match your site theme ehich means they can be offering the same , or a like, product. Many make good money with this if their site is highly infromative, such as articles, FAQ and so on. But, the site better do well on the search engines organic search results so the site can be found and thus, the adsense links clicked on. Example: I had an SEO client who built a site about knitting. It was over 200 pages of infromation, facts, how to etc on knitting and the side of the site had matching adsense ads related to the theme. The site ranked very, very well and she made good money from the clicks
Question: How will I know when a customer buys a product that I am promoting through clickbank and adwords?
I am having trouble turning visitors into buyers. When I look at my adwords account I have enough clicks per day, but when I log into my clickbank account it says that I have zero for the day even though I had like 30 clicks on adwords. How will I know when someone buys the product? Thank You

Hi
When you get a buyer, Clickbank will notify you of a sale and it will show under your reports section in Clickbank.
If you are getting clicks but not sales that could be for several reasons:
1. Your Ads are not getting the correct target traffic
2. The sales copy on the product sales page is not converting.
With Adwords it is also partially a numbers game, thus only a portion of your click through will be excited about the product and this can be improved with your Adwords Copy and then a Good Sales Page will only convert at an average of 3% plus. If you re-sell and get highly targeted traffic through to the offer then the conversion rate will increase dramatically.
Be careful of your adwords costs as well.
A better way approach this is to presell the offer and where possible to do lead generation / list building.
So rather send traffic to a blog or review site you create to pre-sell on the main product and on that site offer a free report to get people to opt into your list so that you can market to them thereafter without incurring Adword costs.
Once you become an Expert in Adwords then if an offer is really good you will be able to control traffic and conversions to that offer.
